Players’ body, QSL to work closely

THE Qatar Stars League (QSL) announced a Memorandum of Understanding with Qatar Players Association (QPA) last week.
QSL CEO Hani Taleb Ballan and QPA Chairman Salman Al Ansari jointly announced the agreement.
The deal will see the QSL work closely with QPA, which was formed last season to serve the interests of all football players in Qatar.
Hani said, “This is a huge step forward in the partnership between us and the players’ association.”
Al Ansari stressed the amount of planning that went into creation of the QPA.
“The QPA is proud of this agreement. It took eight months for us to chalk out a comprehensive plan. I would like to thank the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and QSL for their help. We’re a genuine voice for the players in Qatar, and a key organisation in resolving any potential player disputes between the league and QFA,” said Al Ansari. DSP
