Nam stays confident

NAM Tae-Hee has arguably been the best player so far in this season’s Qatar Stars League and he has played his part in Lekhwiya’s second place in the standings.

Against title challengers Al Sadd last Sunday, Nam had a hand in his team’s first two goals before brilliantly curling home a free-kick for the third.

“I’m very happy that the season has progressed well for me and also our team. We’ve to improve, but just three rounds are over. We’re confident of regaining the title,” said the South Korean.

The 25-year-old said it was nice to have former Granada player Youssef El Arabi as his team’s spearhead.

“Youssef is a great player with a lot of experience in the Spanish League. We all love to have him with us and he’s going to make a lot of difference to our team this season,” he said. DSP
