THE Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) last week announced a new partnership with the Breeders’ Cup, one of the most prestigious events on the thoroughbred calendar.

The brands will exchange presenting-sponsor titles at their respective races — the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint in San Diego, California, and HH The Emir’s Sword Festival in Doha.

QREC General Manager Nasser Sherida Al Kaabi said, “The Breeders’ Cup is one of the most iconic international race meetings in the world and the we’re very proud to have formed this prestigious partnership.”

“We’re thrilled to take this next step in expanding our relationship with QREC,” said Breeders’ Cup President and CEO Craig Fravel in a joint Press release.
