QCF elects new chief

The Qatar Cycling Federation elected Dr Mohammad Jeham Al Kuwari as new president at its General Assembly last week.

The assembly also elected a new Board also comprising Nasser Saqr Lahdan Al Mohannadi, Mohammad Ali Al Kuwari and Thani Al Zaraa.

Outgoing president Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Thani thanked the Board members for their support in making cycling one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

Sheikh Khalid also highlighted the achievements accomplished by the federation under his leadership from 2001 to 2016.
