DOHA: Dolphin Energy’s staff riders got to get in some training and encourage the local business community to get involved in Qatar Cyclists organised 2020 Ooredoo Ride of Champions.
With only two weeks to go for the fourth edition on March 13, the riders burnt some calories and released some energy ahead of the event.
The tournament will feature 2000 participants who will cover around 80,225km — the riders will burn 2.4M calories, the equivalent of energy from 8500 pizza slices.
“We are delighted to support the Ride of Champions and help bring local communities together for this unique community cycling event,” said Dolphin Energy’s General Manager – Qatar, Hassan Al Emadi.
“As it is open to everyone from 3 to 83 years of age, I am looking forward to seeing Dolphin Energy employees and their families enjoy the fun.”
Spaces are still available for this year’s event, with registration open at www.rocdoha.qa.
First 2000 participants receive limited edition bike jerseys (9+) and event bike bottles.
