Qatar win Arab billiards title

Doha: Qatar defeated Jordan 11-10 in the final to win the Arab Billiards Championship in Beirut, Lebanon.

The team, comprising Waleed Magid and Abdulatif Al Fawwal put up impressive performances throughout the tournament as they defeated Algeria 9-5 in the last-eight stage, edged the hosts 9-8 in the semifinals before their thrilling victory in the final.
