IAAF signs new deal with ASICS

THE International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) will have Japanese sportswear designer and manufacturer ASICS as its new official partner.

According to the multiple-year partnership deal signed recently, ASICS will kit officials and volunteers at the IAAF’s major events, including the next two World Championships — London 2017 and Doha 2019.

“We’re delighted to have attracted ASICS, a world-class sportswear designer and manufacturer, as our latest official partner to share this new journey with us,” said IAAF President Sebastian Coe.

“This agreement is a huge endorsement of a bright future for athletics whose universality and diversity make it a natural partner for a global company like this one,” he added.
