GCC Games Doha 2026: Qatar finish top of athletics standings

DOHA: Hosts Qatar finished top of the athletics standings at the GCC Games Doha 2026 after the conclusion of the track and field competitions at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium on Sunday.

Qatar ended the four-day competition with a tournament-leading 34 medals, including 12 gold, 13 silver and nine bronze medals, sealing first place with another strong showing on the final day.

The hosts added nine medals on Sunday, collecting two golds, four silvers and three bronzes.
