European cross-country champion Fsiha tests positive

Stockholm, Sweden: European cross-country champion Robel Fsiha of Sweden has been provisionally suspended after an "illicit substance" was found in his anti-doping sample, the Swedish athletics federation said Friday.
"The provisional suspension came into force on February 5," the federation said, without giving any additional details about the nature of the substance.
Fsiha, a 23-year-old of Eritrean origin, won the European crown in December in Lisbon.
According to Swedish media reports, he had taken the offending test during a training camp in Ethiopia on November 25, two weeks before his European triumph.
