Aspire Zone to host women’s Indoor Track Race Series throughout June

DOHA: The Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) has unveiled a new edition of its women’s indoor track race series at Aspire Zone, reinforcing its commitment to expanding sports participation among women and girls across the country.

The competition will be held over four rounds on June 6, 13, 20 and 26, offering participants from various age groups the opportunity to compete in a supportive and engaging environment. Winners in each category will be determined by the highest number of laps completed within the designated race time.

In addition to the races, the program will feature warm-up sessions and recreational activities led by qualified female coaches, creating a comprehensive fitness experience for all participants.

QSFA Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari said the initiative is a key component of the federation’s women’s sports agenda, aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles and strengthening community involvement through sport.

He added that Aspire Zone’s world-class indoor facilities provide an ideal setting for women and girls to remain active throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.

The event forms part of Qatar’s broader efforts to promote sports participation and enhance opportunities for women to engage in physical activity in a safe and welcoming environment. (QNA)
